This logistically challenging luxury hotel pool and terrace construction project was developed on Little Corn Island in 2021, a complete desingn a construction time of only three months.

In the heart of the untouched Little Corn Island, nestled amidst the vibrant Caribbean vibe, lies the exquisite Yemaya Reefs Hotel. This luxurious retreat offers an unparalleled experience that effortlessly blends opulence with the raw natural beauty of Nicaragua.

Adjacent to the pool, the open terrace provided a serene spot to bask in the warm Nicaraguan sun and soak in the breathtaking views of the sea.

Construction system and finishes

Our construction systems, carefully selected for their superior quality and durability, seamlessly blend luxury and resilience.

The construction process commences with meticulous earth movement and soil enhancement, achieved through precision manual equipment for minimal environmental impact. Our foundations are constructed from steel and reinforced concrete, adhering to ACI318 standards, providing a robust base promising longevity and resilience.

We employ reinforced masonry retaining wall systems, known for their strength and design flexibility. Complementing this is our monolithic concrete pool system, offering flawless integration of the pool into the landscape.

Our provider Multigroup ensures top-tier steel reinforcement for our structures. The structural concrete, sourced from Proinco, ensures a durable and sturdy base for both the pool and terrace. Our formwork, composed of wood and plywood, offers a unique blend of aesthetics and functionality.

For efficient water flow and drainage, we incorporate Wavin’s high-pressure PVC pipe system. Our pumping and propulsion system guarantees optimal water circulation, maintaining pool water clarity and cleanliness.

The pool’s infinity edge, finished with Diamond Brite, creates a visually stunning effect, blending the pool seamlessly with the horizon. The terrace features porcelain flooring styled like wood, adding warmth and sophistication, perfectly complementing the natural surroundings.

The viewing area, finished with wood and sea rope, echoes the coastal ambiance of the location. The pool finishes include vitreous ceramics and Diamond Brite, adding a shimmering touch to the luxurious outdoor space.

To ensure safety and functionality, we’ve incorporated a dedicated electrical system for the pool area, provided by Edison. This combination of innovative construction techniques and high-quality materials results in a world-class terrace and pool that promise an unparalleled experience at Hotel Yemaya Reef.
