Construction system

The development of Casa Laguna began with extensive earthworks using heavy-duty machinery to shape the natural terrain, followed by soil stabilization through advanced geotechnical engineering techniques. The foundation, built from steel and reinforced concrete, complies with ACI318 standards established by the American Concrete Institute, ensuring long-lasting structural strength and reliability.

The vertical structure utilizes the confined masonry system by Agrenic, selected for its proven durability and clean architectural lines. For the upper floor, a mixed slab system was implemented—featuring custom H-beam steel supports and reinforced concrete decks—designed in partnership with Proinco to deliver structural efficiency and thermal comfort.

Casa Laguna is equipped with a suite of advanced systems designed to ensure safety, sustainability, and comfort. These include a comprehensive electrical installation, an automated potable water storage and pumping system, and an environmentally responsible wastewater treatment solution based on aeration and infiltration processes.

The home features a stationary gas system with high-pressure pipelines, a water softening system to combat mineral buildup, and a dedicated voice and data network for seamless digital connectivity. A hybrid emergency backup system—powered by both electricity and solar energy—ensures uninterrupted service during outages. For the pool, an automatic suction and pumping mechanism provides efficient and effortless maintenance, while climate control is handled by high-efficiency LG air conditioning units (LG CAC) designed for superior performance and energy savings.
