Drop Shot Tennis Court at Playa Marsella

The construction of Drop Shot began with large-scale earthmoving using our own heavy-duty equipment to sculpt and prepare the land with full control and precision. A soil stabilization process using soil-cement improvement techniques was applied to reinforce ground integrity prior to laying the structural base.

The foundation system is built with industrial-grade reinforced concrete, strictly adhering to ACI318 standards for structural reliability. Complementing this is the use of structural industrial concrete from Proinco, delivering the strength required for high-performance construction.

Vertical load-bearing elements rely on confined masonry walls, a proven structural system provided by Agrenic that ensures both safety and visual consistency. For intermediate floors, a hybrid slab system was installed, integrating steel beams with reinforced concrete slabs, using solutions by Proinco and Multigrup for maximum structural efficiency and vibration control.

Key systems integrated throughout the project include a complete electrical installation, a fully automated water storage and pumping system, and a sustainable wastewater treatment plant using aeration and infiltration methods. This ensures efficient management of resources with minimal environmental impact.

A unique feature of Drop Shot is its PLEXIPAVE sports court surface, certified by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for its professional-grade performance, durability, and traction — bringing world-class quality to everyday use.
